Have long, thick, and healthy hair fast through these tips and inexpensive products. Be ready to have that luscious hair that you have been long wishing for.
I used to have damaged hair. I used to hate my hair because it's so curly. I wanted to belong, and straight hair is the long time trend. When I was in fourth year high school, the age of hair rebond became so popular. I wanted to try it! I looked for the cheapest rebonding salon in town and I succeeded! I rebonded my hair once a year.
There came a point in time when I just got tired of coming to the salon to fix my roots. I hated my hair. Why wasn't I endowed with that long, thick, silky black hair like my friends?
I stopped rebonding my hair. This time, I don't want to fit in anymore, I wanted to stand out! I grew my natural curly waves. But curly hair is at its best when it's long. So I outgrew my straight rebonded hair and naturally fasten the time I grew my natural locks.
This was me when I used to regularly rebond my hair:
In the span of two years, I grew my long natural locks!
Just to give you an idea of how thick my hair is. (This was me fooling around as Sadako)
1.Wash your hair with a mint shampoo. The tingling sensation brought to your scalp by a menthol shampoo enhances your scalp's capacity to grow hair faster. Remember this: A CLEAN SCALP IS A HEALTHY SCALP. And your scalp's health is essential for the growth of your hair. You can use your favorite shampoo, just look for the one with cooling menthol. I am forever a fan of Head and Shoulders Cooling Menthol Shampoo. They say it's not good for the hair, but hey, it works for me!
2. Wash your hair every other day. You can actually make it every two days, every three days, find what works for you. You want a clean scalp, but don't over clean (shampooing it everyday), especially with harsh shampoos, because it rids of your hair's natural oil. With my hair type, shampooing every other day works for me. Find your optimal frequency.
3.Condition you hair everyday. Find you favorite hair conditioner and apply it everyday. Leave it on. Don't wash it off. Let your hair dry with the conditioner on. Instead of weighing my hair down, my hair actually have natural volume since I started doing this. My favorite conditioner is the pink Palmolive Conditioner. Pink Cream Silk is also good, with a really nice smell.
3. Comb your hair when it's still wet. Really, Juliet? With my experience, yes. Do it GENTLY and WITHOUT PULLING your hair. Yeah, they'll tell you that your hair is at its weakest when wet. Yes, that's true. But when do you suppose you comb your hair, before going to shower? It will be tangled after you shampooed. After showering? You'll wait until it's dry, but it's already tangled. You can experiment all you want but my experience with my curly hair, I finger comb it from tips to roots while it's still wet.
4. Air dry your hair. Unless you really really really need to, NEVER use heating tools to your hair. Heat is the major cause of split ends. To naturally achieve straight bangs with curly tips, I tie my hair into a twisted bob.
When my bangs are already dry in this bob, I let my hair down. The bangs are straight, and the tips are healthily curly.
5. Massage your scalp once in a while. The secret to long hair is the health of your scalp. Massage your hair before going to sleep, when you wake up in the morning, or every chance you get.
6. Love your hair! When you love your hair, it will surely love you back and will make you proud!

Hi, did you go back to your original texture or are you curler now than before you had your hair rebonded?
