Easy Tricks and Inexpensive Products to Have White and Fair Skin Fast. The Pinoy Version.

Written by Juliet Fe J. Laguda

Who wouldn't want that healthy looking, flawless, and fair skin? Here are some tips and inexpensive products to have that white and fair skin fast.

The smooth, fair, and flawless skin, pink lips, and innocent face is to die for. I used to have dark, unhealthy skin. I didn't want to change myself, but I wanted to improve myself. I've wanted to bring out the best of me.

I succeeded.

In my journey to improve myself, here are some inexpensive products and easy everyday practices that I have discovered that brought out the real potential of my skin!

1. Wash your face twice a day with a mild soap.

Avoid using harsh facial soaps. I used to buy expensive whitening soaps, and wash my face with them twice and thrice a day, but they are of no effect. I even had pimples because of the irritation I had for using them. Different skin type needs different kind of soap and treatment. But in general, mild soaps are good for everyone. Your face might react at first for the sudden change in Ph, but in the long run, your skin will thank you. You'll have that healthy looking and fair sakin in no time. I am currently using Dove white soap. Clearasil and Celeteque facial wash are also good choices.

2. Wipe your face with a clean towel.

This towel should be different from the towel you use for your body and should be replaced every two days. This is an essential part.

3. Apply Oseur or Tsin Tsan Tsu Facial Cream.

Whatever sticker color is okay, but I used Tsin Tsan Tsu with blue sticker. I used to use Tsin Tsan Tsu (pink) and then switched to Oseur Facial Cream (red) because Tsin Tsan Tsu is oilier. However, Tsin Tsan Tsu really improved my skin drastically. It is very cheap and can be bought in any drugstore ( Mercury Drug) or Chinese drug store. They're around p15-30 (less than 50 cents) for 30g! If you have oily skin, I suggest to only apply a thin amount on your skin and only once a day, before going to sleep. Once you're satisfied with the color of your skin, switch to Oseur to avoid having very oily skin. Then after a while of using Oseur, stop. Just use petroleum jelly as a moisturizer (Wait for my next post for this). You can also apply Oseur to treat pimples because it contains salicylic acid. Don't overdo this because it will make your skin oilier and really white. Paper white!

4. Invest in a really good Sunblock.

It should be SPF35 or higher. It should also have both anti UVA and UVB rays. What is the sense of applying whitening cream to your face and then exposing your face to harmful sun rays just to get them darker and unhealthy again, eh? Sunblock may be a bit expensive but it really is a good investment. I am currently using Happy Bath SPF 50. Banana Boat Sport is also good except for the "swimming pool" smell. There are sachets available at drugstores (Mercury) which are more pocket friendly.

Some Additional Tips:
*Apply only a SMALL amount of Tsin Tsan Tsu on your face once a day.
*Also apply to your neck and all your problem areas.
*There are fake Tsin Tsan Tsu and Oseur facial cream so only buy to trusted sources.

Enjoy your healthy, flawless, and fair skin!
